Title: Great Durability, Best Option
Review: I’ve had 2 houses with these dog doors and the only spacer piece we could get was that solid plastic one (that never fit well). This metal spacer for the dog door is amazing! Little bit thicker than the plastic one, so I had to cut the studs in the wall a little more to get it to fit. It’s still a bit of a puzzle getting the spacer to fit together just right. But now that it’s in the wall, the spacer piece feels so SOLID, and I’m not afraid of my 60 lbs dogs putting weight on it. Would 100% buy again if we move houses and need to install another dog door.
