Title: Love it!
Review: I have a one year old german shepherd and she has been loving learning new buttons! I normally buy in bulk and slowly introduce one button at a time!

Title: Easy to Set Up.
Review: It was easy to set these up. Flip a switch, Press a button and record. Flip the switch back for normal operation. Then seat the buttons in the neoprene mat – sold separately. It was easy for her to push a button, too.The price for the four buttons and the mat was a little less on Amazon than the price on the FluentPet site. This may change, of course. So far we’re working on “Play”, “Kluckers” ( an old old brand of cat treat) and “Brush the kitty”. These are all words she already knows. I expect it to take at least a couple of weeks before she consistently uses the button, and gets the idea that she can *ask* using the button. In the meantime I’m pushing the button at the same time as I say it.I’ll update this review and post photos in a few weeks. Wish us luck!

Title: Nice, loud enough, but button cell batteries
Review: Button cell batteries were not a good choice for this and the speakers face downward so double sided tape is out, but the buttons are small and light and go flying when they step on it. Pick something else.

Title: Upgraded replacements
Review: Much louder than the original buttons. Purchased to replace original sets that broke after a year or so of usage. Feels the same as previous generation so likely will break just as easily but only time will tell

Title: Don’t buy these if you cat ever vomits
Review: I have a 3 pad, 6 button layout. Cat just vomited in it, and every button that got a drop of puke on it instantly stopped working. They lost their recordings and won’t take new ones, even though they beep like they’re working. I’m throwing all of it in the trash. Too expensive to be this fragile. That’s about $150 down the drain.

Title: I wanted to love them
Review: For me personally itâs just not worth the price. The buttons are super tiny, you have to yell into them to be able to hear it and the buttons are not sensitive at all. I feel like with dogs they need to be sensitive so if their paw slides off the buttons or they lightly tap it it still plays. It doesnât. My dog is constantly hitting the button and it doesnât play. She has to hit it dead center every time and hard in order for the word to play. If she doesnât the button clicks but doesnât say anything. Kinda useless.

Review: These buttons have terrible sound quality, even after you program your voice into them it randomly plays the default “record your voice by pressing… blah blah” which confuses my dog when trying to train how to use them. The buttons are small, I wouldnt recommend this for any large dogs. The dogs have no way to differentiate between buttons since they all look the same with no place to add a symbol or anything. I think if you are looking for dog communication buttons find another brand.

Review: Ich bin total begeistert. I bought these buttons so that my guinea pigs could express their wishes, such as “Floor (I want to roam freely in the house)” or “Garden,” and similar requests. before, I borrowed a button from my neighbor, it was too large for the little piggies, and I tested whether they would respond to it. Then I purchased six buttons and introduced two of them. One says “Home” and means they want to go back to the cage, while the other one says “Snacks”. And so far, they only press the buttons outside the cage.I started practicing with two of my guinea pigs. One is very relaxed and clearly enjoys being challenged. She now understands that pressing the button results in a snack. However, sometimes she gets frustrated if she doesn’t get a treat after just placing her foot on it without pressing. Then she pushes the button away with her foot but brings it back to press it properly. The other one is a very hyperactive guinea pig. She struggles to focus and sometimes only presses when she’s prompted that there’s a button there. I do this by saying her name, pointing at the button, and saying “button”. But then she also thoroughly enjoys pressing and gets excited, spinning around the button or jumping on it with both feet. Both animals have also understood that they need to lift their foot and press again to trigger it again. It’s incredibly fun to see them start expressing their wishes. Even though it’s only been the wish for food and to be lifted back into their cage so far, I’m extremely happy and look forward to introducing more buttons. The buttons are easy to use and set up, coming with batteries and a very understandable manual.
