Title: Works with Android!
Review: I was very surprised to find this. Nearly all of these trackers are for IPhone devices only . This one works for Android which many of us use. I am so happy that I can place this collar on my boy cat because he tends to wander off or hide. I just acquired this cat from my ailing parents. This is an outdoor and indoor part-time cat. I actually own his twin sister (actually she owns me). And he is used to going out to the potty in the mornings (loud meow’s at the door). Well, now that I am taking him in, I cannot fathom him going missing. We live near coyotes and bald eagles and I won’t let my cats out more than her ten foot leash. It will be a struggle, but I want to make sure I know where he is and this tracker is what will work for me. He is a tough cat, so I don’t think I will rely only on the break-away collar that it comes with, when he is outside. Although, the collar is well built and I will use it indoors. Sami is his name and I am so thankful to have found this tracking device. Of course, I will update as I see how well it works for us.

Title: Doesn’t find cat!
Review: The app is pretty useless unless you’re already on top of tag. My cat wanders through thick brush and is always losing her collar. This device gives you no idea where to start looking. I had 3 bicycle icons on my map and I went to each of them. When I tried to make the tag make a noise it just said it wasn’t close enough to make sound. What are the bicycles for then? No videos or instructions. Save your money!!! Now the tag is lost and I can’t even return for refund.

Title: Our two timing cat is busted
Review: Although I don’t know exactly how AirTags work this is essentially an AirTag. Although it is rather a generic version of one, it leaves the question of “how well does it work”?My experience with it was simply pulling a battery tab plastic separator from the device to activate the battery. There is no on device button or anything to reset that I can tell I suspect I will need to open the casing and replace the batteries sometimes so perhaps then. The device is a plastic field and has a little loop attached that appears metallic but seems to be more of a metallic plastic, which I hope is robust enough to stay attached and not break off.The set up was fairly easy as all you do is scan a QR code inside an included instruction manual. This directed to a third-party app download of which is a tracking app and device manager.Once connected, I was able to see the device on a map. Supposedly the device will update every 15 minutes for real time tracking security reasons.This product comes with an included collar and small key ring type ring you can use to attach the tracker to the collar.We have a cat that likes to wait at the door and rush out any opportunity he gets and often times he will be gone for days which leaves us to worry about his well-being. Since I hook this up on his collar, we now can see the general areas that he goes to around the neighborhood in vicinity of our house. I see he frequence another house as we suspect there has been another neighbor who is welcoming of cats. We also suspect the cats have been fed at this location or are allowed to visit or seek shelter in extreme heat or weather. He goes three doors down and to the neighborhood behind that house.So far, this seems to track him, but I am curious on how effective this is compared to other brands like the AirTag fruity brand.

Title: App is pretty basic but I am getting used to it.
Review: When I first got this, I tested it a bit and it does seem to work pretty well in an area with Wi-Fi, or other access to internet devices (Iphones and Androids). I put this in my shirt pocket and hung my shirt in the closet. I didn’t make a mental note of this event and a couple days later I was wandering where I left the tracker. The app did let me know it was at my house but the beep when it was wedged between many shirts was not audible beyond 6 feet. This was when I realized what the app could do. As I walked around the house looking for the device, I noticed the signal strength on the horseshoe would change. It was a slow process and took a bit to update but the closer I got or when facing the right direction, the signal would get stronger. When I got to the closet the signal was way on the right and I could hear the beep when I pressed the green music button. If your device is miles away from you but is close to one of the before mentioned devices, hit the globe button on the right upper corner and you should be able to get the approximate location of the tag. When you get close you should be able to use the proximity sensor to retrieve the lost item or pet. I hope this helps a bit. This device is actually pretty good for its size and the battery should last quite awhile.

Title: Mixed feelings about this…
Review: When I first ordered this, I was excited that there was a tracker that was designed for cats and worked with an android platform. When it arrived, I was surprised at the size. It definitely seems a bit large for a cat. You have to download and use the app to use this tracker. The app itself is very, very basic. It worked most of the time, but it seemed to have trouble tracking at some points. While it does work, I wish that it worked in a more consistent manner.

Review: The Sotfkd Cat Tracker works really wellâit tracks accurately, there is no need for charging, and the waterproof feature is a big plus. Itâs also great that there are no monthly fees. However, itâs a bit bigger than I expected, which might be a consideration for smaller cats. Overall, itâs a reliable product, but be sure to check the size before purchasing!

Title: Terrible for android.
Review: Says it works with android, cat was 25 feet away and it wasn’t tracking her. Cat was in the house 4 feet away and it barely picked her up. Terrible, Terrible Terrible. Don’t waste your time or money. If I could give this a zero I would.
