Title: Works great, but it does beep
Review: It worked really well. Really fast detecting microchips on multiple animals. The beeping noise does indeed scare cats. My dog didnât seem to care. It really picks up the chip very quickly and displays the number. I did not have any difficulty getting a picture of The Number on my phone when I took a picture of the display. I had no issues getting it to charge the USB c cable It came with. I didnât install the software. I donât think I need any more applications. But overall, it works very well and definitely well spent when the neighbor knocks on my door in the middle of the night in a Thunderstorm with an Escaped pup. Highly recommend easy to use. Products suggestion, get rid of the stupid stupid beeping!!

Title: Works well and quickly
Review: Item turns on with one button and immediately works, but there is no button to turn off. You have to let it time off. Purchased to check neighborhood stray cat. You can’t just do an overall distanced scan of the cat and hope for the best. You have to scan over certain parts of the body from a short distance (less than 6 inches) away (upper back and behind the ear are most common spots for cat chips). Another review claimed that the beep was loud, but I did not have this issue. Screen was easy to read. Device was light and portable.

Title: It works.
Review: The performance was great. You can easily read the screen. Light weight and easy to use. Only drawback we encountered was it reads a code on the chip and that is all.

Title: Worth every penny!
Review: Returned my first purchase and bought this scanner instead. Two days ago, a little kitty showed up at our house. I used my scanner and it very quickly located a microphone and displayed the number. You need to be ready to write it down or take a photo because the display doesn’t stay very long. I called my vet and they found the service for that number. It was Petlink so I called and have a found report. They had a matching lost report! Little kitty was reported missing SIX MONTHS ago!! He escaped from his crate while his people were moving. Cats are terrified moving so you need to secure them while packing, loading and during transport and for a few days after you get to your new home. Anyway, I was able to connect with the owner and kitty is going home! Best investment I’ve made in a while. Battery seems to have e last a good while. Highly recommend for home use.0

Title: Solid Product. Buy It
Review: If youâre like me, youâre probably looking at this pet chip scanner because you stumble across quite a few lost pets. I found a dog yesterday (Sunday) and had to drive all over creation to find an open vet/pet store/vet ER location that actually had a scanner. Long story short: Doggo made it back home.So the scanner came in and I did what any normal human being would do: Chased my dogs around trying to scan their chips. After I getting their chip numbers, I decided to plug them into the AAHA website to make sure they popped up. Turns out one of the hounds chips (15 digit #) did NOT come up. After several re-scans, I confirmed the scanner was functioning properly, and after going the dogâs records it turns out the animal shelter gave me the wrong chip number on all the paperwork. So after eight years, the dogâs chip is now registered correctly, thanks to this scanner.Bonus picture of un-amused dog

Title: Really doesnât work
Review: This product is inferior. I have charged it and tried to use it and I might get a reading on one dog and test it on another dog that has a chip and get a chip reading. Not consistent and the battery runs out fast.
