Title: Huge Win!
Review: This cat door is amazing! It was incredibly easy to install. We left the door on the hinges to install it and it didn’t even take us an hour to get it done. I am surprised by the results. I was not sure it would hold up, but it has not let me down so far. Our cat uses it with no problems and it doesn’t let in a draft or or bugs that I have noticed. We ordered the small door and that was perfect for our cat. We haven’t painted ours because the white matches our door, but the fact that it is paintable adds to the value. This is a huge win for the price, quality, and style.

Title: Good interior pet door
Review: I bought the door to install in a new interior door to my basement where the cat litter box is. The door was easy to install. Some have noted that the template was the wrong size for the cut out. I purchased the small door and the template was sized correctly. The bolts are not designed to go through the door but through the cutout. My door is quite thin and I was able to cut the filler pieces with scissors to the correct width to fit the hole. Some complains of the nylon bolts. I found these to be adequate to hold the pet door in place. If the bolts were made of another material they would be difficult to cut to correct length. The nylon bolts can be snipped off to length after installation. I would not recommend this door an exterior install though. Very good for an interior door as for my needs. Flap seems to work well but will see how it holds up. 4 stars as I would only use for the interior of the house. If you are looking for an exterior pet door, you should expect to pay much more than this.

Title: It Works
Review: So, we had a PetSafe door for our cats in our previous house and loved it. We sold the house and got this one, which did not have a cat door. Our cats were driving us nuts wanting to be let in and out to the screened porch, like they had before. So I wanted the same cat door. Well, there have been changes to the design and function. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews, lol.The door itself is fine. Two things we’re not pleased about. One is the plastic screws. I don’t think they will hold up over time, especially related to the other issue. And that is the door cover. OMG. This does not slide up and down a track like our old one. It snaps on and off and is VERY hard to get off. We’ve had it 2 days and I’ve had to use a flat screwdriver to pry it off every time. There’s no way those plastic screws are going to take that for long!I’m going to try a couple of suggestions I’ve seen here and if it doesn’t quickly resolve this, it will be going back, fast. I already have a hole in the door so I need a solution.

Review: Added a mudroom to the porch and wanted to move the catbox into it. Took about 2hours all toldCheck cat height/weight. Ours : 9lbsRemove door (easier with 2 people) and have sawhorses or equivalent, skillsaw, cut along template clean up. Instructions are good. Look on the net for videosPointed out treats on “outside” to cat a couple of times, “helped” her out and things are just fine. She strolls in and out through her door. Looks good, minimal.
